Country Music... coz music is not only about do re mi fa sol

I thought before those day I never really knows about country music.
Shania Twain... alright, I love her. But never notice about the genre.
Faith Hill... Oooo, this is the soundtrack of Pearl Harbor, despite it's also a great music.
LeAnn Rimes... hmm, Coyote Ugly... love all the soundtrack!

But, then... taraaaa!! Let me introduce you to Danny Gokey, (American Idol season 8) sang "What Hurts The Most" from Rascal Flatts. Who the hell is Rascal Flatts?

I don't even know those band before that day. But, Danny Gokey... and that song made me cry out loud! Then what, at the same season he sang "Jesus Take The Wheel" from (former American Idol winner) Carrie Underwood.

At that time, I finally find my interest to this music genre. What the hell, the one who made me in love with country music, is (really) not country singer (at that time) :D But, who cares!

Since Danny Gokey, I finally notice all that people and others Country Music legends. But personally, I don't really interest with heavy country music, a man with cowboy hat, sit in the country club, sing in the desert or riding a horse :)

You might interesting with Taylor Swift and Kelly Clarkson... it's soo easy in love with pop country music. I also loves those two. It's all easy listening, easy to remember, easy to connect with all.

But, personally I LOVESSS Rascal Flatts among other country singer/band. Why?
Because of "What Hurts The Most", "Stand", "Changed", "Here Comes Good Bye", and plenty others. I will review "why" after this... coz I might understand why country sounds different for me.

Do you know why people loves Danny Gokey when he sang "What Hurts The Most"? Coz it's story of his own. How he handle his life after the death of her wife. She sang, just the way he outpouring his heart. And we did catch it!

Do you ever understand why Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton seems cloudy when sings "Over You"? Coz it's about Blake's brother. About our hardest way to get over someone we love from our mind.

All the Rascal Flatts songs tells us story of life... whether it's good, nice, happy... till misery, cry, letting go. It's all part of our life! When you were happy when you met the one on your life, you sang "I Won't Let Go." When you can't except something in your past, they give you "What Hurts The Most." When you break-down and wants to making something different for your own life, they have "Changed." When you grief, there's "Here Comes Good Bye." And so on...

Because sing for me is not only about "do re mi fa sol la si do" ...
Because a great singer is someone who can sings his/her heart...
Because the best song is not only about Grammy Nominee, but also catch your heart! And makes you run those song, over and over again!
